As I brought my feet one step closer, I felt the warmness of the fine sediments piercing the soles of my bare foot. The pungent scent of the sea water invaded the opening of my nostrils. The bone-chilling gust of air sent shivers down my spine. But despite all of these, I flushed as the blazing rays of sun bathe me. The waves were singing me a dulcet lullaby, making me reminisce my childhood and drawing me closer into them. Feeling so bold, I took a step further. Now, the touch of the algid water filled the spaces of my toes. Raising my arms wide open, as if embracing the wind, I breathed in a breath of fresh air.
I am on the beach and I always find myself spellbound by its beauty. The thing that I love most about the beach is the feeling of tranquility and inner peace it brings. Overlooking the vast ocean, the blue sky, the sway of coconut trees and gentle blow of the sea breeze that caresses the skin makes me feel so free. Problems are washed away by the cerulean waves that move freely back and forth, up and down. Everybody needs to have a little change of scenery every now and then and the beach is just the perfect getaway to relax and forget the worries of the world. So it seems the beach is another dimension of reality that erases all pains and uncertainties.
The sun is getting tired and is slowly lying off its heat. The day is ending. The numbing sensation of my feet signals they are not tired yet. It is telling me to stay around and see the spectacular view of when the sun sets and make a wish upon the never ending horizon. Finally the sun dipped into a pool of internal light, and up above; a humongous shade of red, blue and orange. The reflections of the waves saluted me as if for a moment I was part of the beach.
